Frugal Friday: Safeway Delivers

First off, this is not going to save you money; it’s going to save you time. With our move to the city and the fact that we got rid of my car, I’ve got less time to do regular chores, like grocery shopping, and no way to get to the store even if I had the time to do so. In recent weeks I have become a huge fan of Safeway’s grocery delivery. It’s very simple to shop and even easier to schedule a delivery. The website saves your previous shopping lists so once you’ve ordered the first time, it gets easier and faster to place your order. Once that’s done, all you have to do is make sure you are home when the delivery comes. So easy and it only costs $10 to $13 to have it delivered. Well worth the cost when it allows me the time to catch up with friends or family and of course, keep up on my blogging.
